Creating virtual machine in the Azure Portal

virtual machine is a computer which exists in the cloud.It doesn’t exist physically so you can not see and access hardware.So they just exist virtually not physically.

To create a virtual machine in azure follow the below steps:

Login to the azure portal

Click the create a resource tab

You can also create virtual machine by clicking the virtual machine tab on the right hand side

In the page that opens click the create virtual machine button:

You can also click Add button on top to create a virtual machine

A new form will open where you need to provide details for the new virtual machine:

there are various types of virtual machines you can create in azure ,you can select the one which you want to create:

you can also select virtual machine sizes by selecting “change size”

Following are some of the details you need to give to create a new virtual machine

Once you click the create+review button you will get the following screen

now you need to just click the create virtual machine button to create the virtual machine.

Now your virtual machine will get deployed and you will get the following message:
